Serving the customer - hands off
Napco's iSee Video server automatically notifies the subscriber by email upon receipt of triggered video events and archives them for viewing at a later time (up to 15 clips, 30 seconds each). The customer has complete control of their account (passwords, email addresses, email content, triggered video clips duration and other personal information), freeing you from routine maintenance.
iSee Video's video surveillance system is compatible with computers running Microsoft Windows®, Apple® and Linux® operating systems.
iSee Video converts any 4 analog CCTV cameras into internet ready IP cameras, providing 640 x 480 video at up to 5 fps, and sends the video out over the internet. And multiple modules can be used with each account to increase camera capacity. Simple, right?
What you don't see and don't have to do is the brilliance of the iSee Video. Napco technology utilizes unique firewall tunneling algorithms to punch through even the tightest corporate firewalls. iSee Video provides 48 user definable pixel based motion detector zones per camera and 4 input triggers that prompt transmission of video clips to the server (arm/disarm function, 1 output and programmable daily schedule). It has local video output that provides a sequenced video output of the 4 cameras. You don't need to be an IT expert or even internet savvy, as it provides dynamic IP support through Napco InfoServer DNS servers. Every 16 seconds the Gateway checks in with its DNS server to insure that the DHCP IP address is always kept current.
iSee Video allows plug & play installation of iSee Video on cable internet, DSL, DSL router/modem combos, DSL PPPoE and satellite systems. And that's really all you need to know. Technically, it segments the network, automatically detects and properly forwards the data intended for the module or to the customer’s computer/router, as required. There's no need to manually port forward the customer’s router. In addition, it functions as both a DHCP client and server, to fit seamlessly into all typical DHCP environments. Connectivity is provided with 4 auto-sensing LAN ports for connection to the module and to the customer's PC, router or other equipment.
